Things that I missed about the 90′s

Approaching the end of the naughties, I just realized what an old fart i’m becoming. I’ve noticed that i’ve started displaying certain ‘old man’ symptoms like extreme aversion to noise, loss of interest in appearance and personal hygiene, critical view of any changes in my surroundings, etc etc. So I was just reminscing about how great the 90′s were. I just wanna make a list of all things from the nineties that I missed, things that happened, events, people and fads that impressed me, things that are just so 90′s.

Boy Band releases debut album.

Australian boy band “The Ploughmans” released their debut album titled, ” 8 at Ploughmans” just yesterday.  As we speak, The Ploughmans’ first single ” Evolution of love” is currently #1 on the Australian Billboards. The group is set to go on tour in the Blue Mountains. Their first stop will be at Wentworth Falls where tickets have already sold out.  The group’s lead singer Roy Avestruz has a very large fan base especially with young teenage girls, which certainly contributes to the group’s fast rising popularity.

After 8 Mizoram Basketball Association All Star appearances, 5 Mizoram Championships and 4 MVP awards, basketball legend Daniel Nickel is ready to call it quits. Playing his last official MBA game last tuesday at Babutlang basketball court, he left behind a glorious career that is unmatched by any other MBA player.

New Sheriff moves into town

New sheriff Caesar Go vows to clean up the town of Leura of all outlaws and horse thieves. Sheriff Go has announced that “vermins and thieves the likes of Dirty Daniel Nickel Pickle, Billy Big Ears Stones, Dusty Ben Howard and Rusty Gus Doritos must up and leave town before the next sunrise or I will hunt y’all down like the rats you are.” Sheriff Go has reassured all the good folks of Leura that he will clean up the town and restore law and order before it’s too late..
